Mumbai: The highly anticipated film Baby John is set to feature a dramatic showdown between Varun Dhawan and Jackie Shroff, and the lead actor, Varun, has expressed his excitement about working with the seasoned actor ahead of the film’s release. At a recent press conference in Mumbai, Varun could barely contain his admiration for Jackie, praising him as not only an outstanding actor but also a fantastic co-star.
“He is a very chilled-out man; it was wonderful working with him,” Varun shared, highlighting the smooth collaboration between them. The actor further elaborated on Jackie Shroff’s remarkable behavior, both on and off set. “His behavior toward others in real life is truly remarkable. He is one of the most impressive actors we have here; I learned a great deal from him,” Varun added. He also praised Jackie for his professionalism during their action sequences together, saying, “I was also required to engage in some action with him, and he granted me complete autonomy. Kalees and I had an enjoyable experience collaborating with Jackie, the gentleman.”
The film’s producer, Atlee, had Jackie Shroff in mind for the role of the antagonist, Babbar Sher, from the very beginning of casting. Varun expressed his admiration for Atlee’s decision, stating, “From day one of casting for this role, Atlee sir wanted Jackie sir to play the part, and I must admit, he has exceeded my expectations. This will be Jackie Shroff 3.0 in the film!”
Fans are already captivated by Jackie Shroff’s menacing portrayal of Babbar Sher in the trailer, and the excitement surrounding his role as the antagonist has only grown.
